In the past few years, we have had the amazing opportunity to spend several camping vacations with our daughter and grandchildren at several different state and national parks.   On this trip to Yosemite, we stayed in a beautiful campground right outside the gates of Yosemite (National Park Campgrounds rarely have RV hook ups and we do like to be comfortable!) with the gorgeous South Fork of the Tuolumine River running through it.   Although I took hundreds of pictures inside the park, this is the first from that trip that I painted.  I love the affect of the dark trees surrounding the light at the end of the tunnel where the bridge is.  The lighting, the textures and the beautiful colors all made for a composition I couldn't pass up.
