Awhile back, I visited my brother in Williams, Arizona where there is a wonderful wildlife park called Bearizona. The park is a drive through in which the animals can walk up to your car and visit with you and you with them. Although I didn't get many pictures of bears on that trip, I did photograph many bison. I am fascinated by their hair texture and the colors that I can see in light and shadow on them. This painting pushes the boundaries of the color by a bit, but not by much!
